The current political titles on the
NYT best-seller list below. Notice which ones have the "bulk sales" symbol (†) and which ones don't:
1 THE OBAMA NATION, by Jerome R. Corsi. The Democratic candidate as an extreme leftist. (†)
3 THE WAY OF THE WORLD, by Ron Suskind. How the Bush administration ignored evidence about Iraq in its rush to war.
5 THE CASE AGAINST BARACK OBAMA, by David Freddoso. The Democratic candidate as a calculating extreme leftist. (†) ("extreme leftist" - again! :D)
7 THE DARK SIDE, by Jane Mayer. How the Bush administration embraced the practice of torture.
8 FLEECED, by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann. How Barack Obama ... Are Scamming Us ... and What to Do About It (†)
10 THE PROSECUTION OF GEORGE W. BUSH FOR MURDER, by Vincent Bugliosi.
11 THE WRECKING CREW, by Thomas Frank. The deliberate mismanagement of Republican rule.
19 WHAT HAPPENED, by Scott McClellan.
27 THE REVOLUTION, by Ron Paul. (†)
29 I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU!), by Stephen Colbert.
So ...
every single political title from the Right are on the list due to bulk sales, and
every single title from the left or somehow criticizing Dear Leader is not. This, as much as anything, is a great example of how a wealthy few can control the perceptions of the many.
Wow, it's number one on the New York Times Best-seller list, I guess everyone must be reading it.
