He can state things as fact that have no basis in reality, and then when confronted with his lie he can go on one show after another claiming that what he said was really true because the Secret Service motorcade or a short time in Green Room were essentially the same thing as that "cone of silence."

For him, the truth does not matter at all, it's all salesmanship. The "cone of silence" BullShit was no different than the "religious" lies he successfully peddles to suckers every day and makes millions from.

Reality is irrelevant, just as for Rove. He is the perfect Con Operator, and a perfect liar, and a perfect swindler, and a perfect Republican. Pardon the redundancy.
