***The John McCain Challenge***
Edited on Fri Aug-15-08 06:19 PM by ck4829
McCain has called Obama's refusal to praise the "surge" 24/7 an example of bad judgment, and has said Obama has made several "bad judgments."

That's because McCain has NEVER made a bad judgment, right?

Well, can you take the John McCain Challenge, which of these was a bad judgment, and wonder if John McCain will answer these himself:

Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he opposed OR when he supported offshore drilling?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he called Jerry Falwell an "agent of intolerance" OR when he supported him?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he opposed Bush's tax cuts OR when he supported them?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he voted to invade Iraq?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he indirectly got 21 Iraqis killed in a PR stunt gone horribly wrong?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he got caught up in the Keating Five Scandal?
Was John McCain making a "bad judgment" when he opposed Martin Luther King Day?

Are you brave enough to take the John McCain Challenge, is John McCain brave enough?

1. It also depends on the definition of surge and success is
The surge was put into place in order to reduce violence in baghdad in order to facilitate a political solution. In order for it to be a success, it has to meet both objectives. Yes, it reduced violence, and that is no surprise. That was expected, and Obama has said that many times. However, it did not help to facilitate a political solution, so in that aspect it is a failure.
