US behind Georgia war: Ex-CIA official
Thu, 14 Aug 2008 23:49:44 GMT

CIA's former senior political analyst Bill Christison
A former senior CIA official, Bill Christison, says Georgia may have received the green light from the US to attack South Ossetia.

Christison made the statement in response to Press TV correspondent's question whether or not Washington gave the go ahead for Georgia to launch its attack.

The CIA political analyst said that there were quite a few people in the US that supported this kind of conflict and wanted the US to change its position in the Middle East and Central Asia.

He said it was highly possible that Washington actually encouraged Georgia to attack South Ossetia.

Rather obvious the amerikkkan and israeli "advisors" urged the attack.

4. Another Clueless Quote from Freeperland:

"What Russia is doing is as morally egregious as what Iraq did when it invaded Kuwait."

I nearly peed myself when I read this. I somehow have the feeling that this induhvidual has no idea who Avril Glaspie is.

Don't bother linking - provided only for proof, if desired, that there are people out there that actually ARE "dumber than DIRT."

7. Fake green light, as we seemed to have given Sadam Hussein to invade Kuwait.
Then when the tanks get rolling, the US isn't behind them anymore: set up for a knock-down.

And is this a gift or bargain by the US to strengthen the Russian regime by letting it flex its power in its near-by affairs, in exchange for what - a Russian green light for the US to attack Iran? And if we let China win mucho gold....

Saw Gates on the news hour saying that this Georgian conflict is changing US-Russian relations, and the scheduled US-Russia war games would be canceled, but when has Gates ever been up-front about anything?

The timing of this authoritarian military stunt, if that is indeed what it is, seems to favor the status-quo of the military machine turned loose on the world, as the US voting public has an opportunty to change course come November, and this shouts down the peacemakers.

Death to war!
