The natural shape of Newt Gingrich's head
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 05:27 PM by Bucky
Maybe I'm making a mountain out a molehill here. But based on this photo, perhaps the expression should be "making a giant cone out of a football." I got this image from Crooks and Liars.com where their point (no pun intended or avoidable) seems to be about how absurd it is for this man to try and appear Godly by praying in public.

But the first question I have, looking at this, is about what time period he is from.

4. Ah, phrenology.
If the flat-earthers don't want "people picking and choosing," they better take their phrenology with their intelligent design.

Nice.

8. I read somewhere that he wasn't able to find a football helmet when he was a kid
Supposedly, none of them were big enough, not even the largest men's sizes.

11. That's what the Pharisees did in the Old Testament
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 06:04 PM by SpiralHawk
They made a big gaudy show of their supposed 'piety' while in public,
then corruptly screwed the pooch behind closed doors.

The Pharisees were the republicons of their day.

15. Nah. Non-kosher pooch screwing was the thing for the Pharisees

If you want the DETAILS, ask Newtie. He's the republicon-Pharisee expert.

13. Does anyone except little kids
Actually put their hands together and bow your head down like that to pray? I've seen adults hold their arms in front of their body, lowered, the hands holding onto each other or maybe clasped at chest level with the elbows slightly akimbo... but not this.

Methinks he really wants to make sure people know he's praying and not looking petulant/ashamed (as the first pose could do) and not suffering from heartburn like the second pose could do.

16.  Oleaginous hypocrite.
Off topic but watching this person "repent" for his serial adultery makes my insincerity meter go off the chart.

And is that Judith Miller?
