Obama leads McCain nationally in AP-Ipsos poll

WASHINGTON - Solid margins among women, minorities and young voters have powered Barack Obama to a 6 percentage point lead over John McCain in the presidential race, according to a poll released Tuesday.

1. sounds more accurate than the tie everyone talked about all day today.
There's no way Obama had lost a nine point lead in one week in the middle of the summer. Three points sounds more plausible. An easy three to regain if we can hit back in kind. Voters complain how much they detest negative campaigning, but they respond to it every time.
