60's protest rant

"War, what is it good for?" we ask this question every day. Our country is on the "eve of destruction" and all we can do is "imagine" "how long" until "the war is over"

The "war pigs" told us that they were "proud to be an American" and that we should "rally around the flag" and send our young men "over there". But we ask "what are we fighting for?"

"Abraham, Martin and John" wanted us to "give peace a chance" but their messages of peace are just "blowin' in the wind" and we are left asking "where have all the flowers gone?"

A "fortunate son" has been in the white house after he stole the vote in "Ohio" and ignored the "signs" that we would be attacked and then dragged down "America the beautiful"

But "the times they are a changin'". We have Obama and "god on our side". they know that "people got to be free". "the winds of change" will sweep the "masters of war" from power. "For what it's worth" "we can change the world" if we "get together".
