There would be non-stop coverage. It would be on talk radio 24/7. Hell, McCain would probably use it as a campaign issue! Of course, this scenario isn't very likely, because even the most partisan progressive commentators don't inspire people to hate the way the right wing had done with its followers. I'm not for censorship, and I think Adkisson is responsible for his own actions, but I do believe there is at least some blood on the hands of the hardcore conservative movement. At the very least, they are bad for the country.

every murder, assault, rape, driving drunk, or whatever that occurs in this country every year it would be my guess by the sheer law of averages that some of them would actually be committed by, gasp!--Liberals. It is kind of naive to believe that every Liberal is an angel and as pure as driven snow and is totally immune to any mental disease or distress of any kind that might cause them to commit a crime. I am betting that some commit crimes simply because they are not nice people in spite of their politics, although not because of it.

The point here being that FAUX news and the talking righty radio morons would shout from the rooftops any violent crime that was motivated by liberal political or social beliefs against conservatives (if a frustrated Kucinich suporter, for example, had shot up the First Baptist Church of Dallas, as a children's show was going on). OTOH, you hardly hear any mention of the UU shooting in the conservative media.
