Win a Free Copy of "Shock Jocks" by Rory O'Connor
Be the first to correctly post the ID of the song below and I will send you a copy of Shock Jocks: Hate Speech and Talk Radio by Rory O'Connor with Aaron Cutler (AlterNet Books, 2008).

http://www.amazon.com/tag/shock%20jocks

Here's the Song:

I've heard it on store sound systems and Pop Radio, maybe Adult Contemporary stations, for the past few months.

It starts off with strumming electric guitar beat then a seductive lady sort of sing-songing in a low-volume voice. Progressively her range grows revealing a strong feminine voice. The song ends with a "In the middle of the night...yes, yes, yes."

Other lyric Phrases include:

----
Distant drums are the beating heart in my chest.
Seas will rise, cities catch fire, skies are falling.
Walked a spell with you.
Close your eyes, hand in mine.
Hold on tight.
Stay for awhile.
----

The line "I close my eyes, hand in mine" is probably the catchiest most memorable part as is the ending.

My wife loves this song but she has doesn't know its name or idea who sings it -- with Anniversary 26 coming up, I want to surprise her. She never reads DU!

Thanks All!

StClone

4. Well at least you answered
I am at a dead end with this song.

I've Goolged, and Lyric searched, and e-mailed radio stations and posted here several times. Looks like this is going nowhere.
