Fineman: "You don’t want a Democratic admin coming in there while the evidence is still fresh"
Edited on Sun Jul-20-08 06:33 PM by kpete
The White House wants McCain to win because they know there would be no accountability for all their criminal acts with another Republican in office.

FINEMAN: If you’re in this White House, you want another Republican administration to follow. You don’t want a Democratic administration coming in there while the evidence is still fresh, so to speak. To look at it the way…

MATTHEWS: With the subpoena power…

FINEMAN: With the subpoena power and looking through all the records and looking at all the decisions that were made. You want to cover over your two terms with a third term the way Ronald Reagan did with George HW Bush.

1. Do they really believe that?
If so, where is their reporting?

5. One thing I've noticed about Howard's hair - It starts off a deep shade of maroon, after he's just
gotten it dyed, and then eventually washes out to a burnt almond.
Six weeks seems to be about how long he lets it go.

He must use the same dye lot as Larry King, same color progression.

Don't they know how dumb it looks?

6. My question is
If they really want to keep control of the whitehouse, why run McCain? My view is they know they don't stand a chance this year, so they don't want to run someone they think has potential, although I don't know who that would be! McCain gets his shot, republicans can keep their future hopes from looking bad, and for 4 years the republicans can try and pin everything Bush did on the democrats, and try and get back in control come 2012!

The only way McCain can win is if they cheat like hell, fix voting machines, and every other dirty trick they can think of, and I still think they don't have a chance even if they do cheat! This country is tired of republicans running things. Bush has made sure of that!

8. Isn't that what they did in 2004...
...against Kerry?

"The only way McCain can win is if they cheat like hell, fix voting machines, and every other dirty trick they can think of, and I still think they don't have a chance even if they do cheat! This country is tired of republicans running things."

That's what I thought...
