NBC discussing politician's vulgarity...
Saying Jackson joins long line...
Shows clips of other "offenders"..
Includes (very) breif shot of Clinton looking like he's flipping the bird....

TIVO says he wasn't.. That was his POINTER finger in that clip.

Why so they do that?

1. Did they show Bush flipping the bird?
Swearing with his mouth full?

3. There was a real quick clip of B*sh at a table
with Tony Blair leaning over his shoulder.. is that it?

I guess it's easier to find clips of Republicans actually being vulgar, in the main.

12. Yes, he was swearing with his mouth full
I think fondling the Chancellor of Germany was also vulgar.

Kerry chewing out a secret service guy while skiing? Probably ...

6. It Was A "Gotcha " Video
I was thinking that if this were a basketball game, Jesse would be feted as being a "trash talk" king...cause, of course, that's the place where "colored people" like to do those things. Sheehsh.

Now, let's define the word "offensive" and "obscene". When I hear boooshie open his piehole those are the first two things that always come out. When I read about 4,117 American dead with little to no coverage, that's what I consider offensive. When the corporate media enables yet another GOOP lie, that's downright obscene.

7. Did they include Cheney telling a senator to fuck himself?
Actually, a bit of vulgarity doesn't necessarily make you a bad politician. Pierre Trudeau of Canada was said to have sworn at his opponents in both the official languages of Canada, but he was still a pretty good PM! But in Cheney's case, it's just one minor symptom of being generally rotten through and through!

8. Here's some good wake-up humor

Check out the LBJ audio, where he's recorded on the phone with his tailor telling him to give his pants enough room for his nuts.

10. i would think the bigger question is...who cares?
i mean...most of the people you are surrounded with will drop to a vulgar gesture or phrase when the mood hits them...makes them human. if Bill gave someone the finger...they were probably asking for it. if one politician tells another person to fuck off...well, i wouldn't be surprised. we all have different personalities (some more antisocial than others) and we are GOING to have conflicts that lead to this sort of thing.

i see a politician doing something like this...just reminds me that they are human, too... (except for that cyborg Cheny)

13. That's just it - nobody cares
So the media have their work cut out for them to manufacture a controversy over someone somewhere saying "nuts" in reference to someone else's testicles. It's gotta be more important to rivet public attention on that than on the fact that the stock market has "soared" an average of $7 a month during the Bush administration (as just one symptom of a much larger problem).
