Did they bribe Pelosi or blackmail Pelosi?
I'm sorry, but there is something else at work here. When did she become a DINO? Or was she always one and we just never noticed?

2. Neither.... Pelosi is part of that gang of 8. She knew and probably
approved of half the stuff Bushco was doing.... She knew about the torture.

3. Yes, she did. And she's probably thinking that re-taking the White House
and the Congress in November makes it all better.

8. I so hope she's proven wrong after November.
It would be even better if she were gone before then, but we know that's not going to happen.

Having a D by her name doesn't excuse her behavior, not one bit.

16. Who else is part of that gang of 8 ?
I remember reading that Pelosi approved of the clandestine torture program, but I lost the link.

4. If true, then she should resign
for the good of the party and her country. Let someone else take over the reins.

She should never put her career ahead of the interests of the nation.

I used to be one of her supporters, but no more.

12. I think it's extortion.
I think they're holding a city hostage. Nancy, remember Katrina? Shame to see something bad happen to San Francisco. It would be easy for a terrorist to smuggle in a suitcase nuke.

I would not put it past this criminal administration.

I believe she is to blame. She is now protecting war criminals.

18. Stop making excuses for the woman.
She has always been this inept and worthless. It is just before she was not in charge of anything and no one had noticed. I am so sick of people trying to make excuses for the whole inept pack of sons of bitches. This is who we elected and this is who we are stuck with and should really learn from this experience.

So Nancy Pelosi was the first ever woman Speaker. What a waste that such a history making event was wasted on this absolutely worthless excuse for a Congress Person. I would rather she had never assumed this position at all.

21. She is a product of machine politics and family connections.
Her father was a congressman and mayor of Baltimore. Her brother-in-law was on the San Francisco board of supervisors. She fell into the family business through her family and social connections. Her entire career is based on back-room deals by elite power-brokers.

As liberal as she may be on many issues (a political necessity on the east side of SF), this is not the kind of politician who is likely to mess with the status-quo: She owes her very existence to the status-quo.

22. This is who she is. This is how she got where she is.
This is how politics works in the good old USA. If we don't like it, we need to get her un-elected. If we don't like it, we need to change (permanently) how politics works in the good old USA.
