Oh God no .... he is just 20 and just got sent there.

God Damn you bush! You evil mother fucker and your fucking war.

His mom went down to Ft. Bragg to make Xmas dinner for her son and his friends
because they couldn't leave the base area .... I will not know until the A.M. if he was
one of the 6.

Six paratroopers from 82nd killed in Iraq

The Associated Press
Posted : Tuesday Mar 6, 2007 16:20:14 EST

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The six soldiers killed when a bomb exploded near their vehicles on Monday in Iraq’s Salahuddin province were members of the 82nd Airborne Division, the division said Tuesday.

It was the single largest loss of life in the past three years for the Fort Bragg-based division, said division spokesman Maj. Tom Earnhardt.

Three paratroopers were wounded in the bombing and their conditions weren’t immediately known, Earnhardt said.

Names of the paratroopers weren’t released while their families were being notified, Earnhardt said. The paratroopers were members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team and were assigned to Task Force Lightning.

“The loss of any paratrooper under any circumstances is tragic and unacceptable to us,” Earnhardt said.

Earnhardt said 80 paratroopers have now died in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.

The division of about 17,000 soldiers has some 8,300 paratroopers in Iraq and about 6,100 on duty in Afghanistan. Another brigade is scheduled to deploy to Iraq this summer.

This must stop NOW! Not one more of our soldiers should be sent or scrificed for their lies.

Is your son there? Find a good book, curl up with him and read him a beautiful, happy story. Then give him a hug and kiss from me. Feed your soul. You're going to need it later.

You're my fav too sweetie! (Just don't tell Bleever ... you know how he gets ... )

12. I don't know if she knows yet ....
.... odds are good that she does know she is in a "Task Force Lightening" support
group. I don't won't to tell her anything now. I hope she isn't burdened with
"the wait."

My Son is with my Ex right now. 125 miles away.

We will all know in the AM.

22. This is an example of the many long fingers of the Monster named Combat
That shit reaches out indiscriminately and has no feelings whatsoever.

Way back when I was dealing with that Monster my greatest fear was not for my own life, but what would happen back Home.

Try to stay positive this evening, Botany.

The odds are long in your friend's boy's favor.

30. My prayers and thoughts are with you
I am praying that your friend is safe. Just because you are not related by blood, you are still related by love. I pray for all of the troops thrust into this hell of Bush's choosing. Even if he is safe, he will be traumatized by the fact that some of his buddies have given their lives, and that will have a huge impact on him. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with all of the families and friends of our troops. :grouphug:

Know that I will be working in Gahanna tomorrow thinking about you and your family.
