1. Article III, Section 3, United States Constitution
Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court. The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attained.

The statutory provision declaring the punishment for treason is 18 USCode Sec 2381:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war
against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and
comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason
and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five
years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and
shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

2. Can't we make an exception on the Corruption of Blood part for Bushes???
We need to abolish this part of the Constitution: "but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attained."

Corruption of blood, a punishment used in England at the time the US was founded, punished not just the traitor, but his entire family (his heirs) making them forfeit any titles and making them unable to inherit from the traitor.

We should make a special exception for the Bush family after W is convicted of treason so that no Bush will ever, ever be allowed to hold office or own property within the borders of the United States.

5. Treason is everything everyone in the White House has done
over the past six years.

The punishment, apparently, is an hour in the Comfy Chair.
