As he was explaining HIS position, he said the real story will be if GWB pardons Libby on his way out the door in about a year and a half or so. Wolfe asked him if he thought the Prez shoudl issue the pardon, and Jack said NO! If you bread the las you ought to pay for it. It's time we did away with this silly law that lets a President pardon these worms!

hell thought that one? Does that mean if someone were convicted of say, "treason" the head chimp could pardon them?

President "shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment."

That would include treason.
