NBC, Pentagon-owned demon of lies, begone!
So, enough of that.

Let's talk about how to assure history's greatest landslide against McBush in the 2008 elections: By treating the Constitution as though it were worth defending against those who profess unitary power by divine right, who declare the world perpetually at war; by holding the usurpers accountable for their crimes, before they spring whatever new capital atrocity you can be certain they are preparing, before they steal another election.

Democratic Underground (DU) was founded on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001, to protest the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush and to provide a resource for the exchange and dissemination of liberal and progressive ideas.

1. But... but... Timmeh!
Seriously, enough already. I think the washouts from GD: P are just looking for anything to fight about.

5. Funny how the pentagon "owned" russert... but not "Olberman
Even though they have the same boss.

6. A Pentagon contractor owns NBC.
Which may be related to GE-NBC's stance on the wars of the military-industrial complex, especially in providing advance propaganda for the next inevitable campaign, although it's not too easy to distinguish from Disney-ABC's, or TimeWarner-CNN's, or Murdoch-FOXNEWS's.

Russert was the top dog in charting the course for the network's news division. Olbermann is a nod to a niche market getting good ratings on the cable channel. Don't you have important stories to break in your capacity as a very real journalist, by the way?

Let's talk instead about why DU exists:

Democratic Underground (DU) was founded on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001, to protest the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush and to provide a resource for the exchange and dissemination of liberal and progressive ideas.

7. Day off for me - but last week I did some damned good work
So now you get to decide what is a liberal and progressive idea? I didn't know dancing on the grave of dead people was part of the platform.

8. Yawn. Why are you trying to change the subject back to the moral hysteria of the week?
Is NBC owned by a Pentagon contractor or not?

11. I won't say here
I live in Canada, many know where I live and it wouldn't be hard for people to find out exactly who I was if I said who I work for. Sorry.
