Inflation from Asia: The next crisis

"Rapidly rising prices across the continent are the biggest danger for the global economy right now. And things could get much worse in the coming months, says MSN's Jim Jubak."

Interesting article. I'm afraid I don't fully understand how this will impact us even after reading the article. Are there any economic gurus that can explain if this is a real concern and give a simple explanation?

1. Inflation means a lot of unrest
meaning riots and damaged factories across the country as people who are being overworked for not enough money to buy food decide to fight back. First the flow of goods is disrupted and then the goods get a lot more expensive as the old boys in Beijing decide they'd better throw a sop to the workers in the form of a few more yuan an hour so they can keep their own jobs.

There have already been riots in India.

Inflation there is a very bad thing. It will affect us and rather soon, I think.

We have the same inflation here, you know, but our government has been better at lying about it.
