Report: Fed. judge had sexual images on Web site

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A federal judge overseeing an obscenity trial exploring the extreme fringe of pornography posted explicit photos and videos on his personal Web site, a newspaper reported Wednesday.

Alex Kozinski, chief judge of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, said he thought the material on his Web site couldn't be seen by the public, the Los Angeles Times reported on its Web site. The images included a video of a "half-dressed man cavorting with a sexually aroused farm animal," the newspaper reported.

Kozinski, who has since blocked public access to the site, said he didn't believe the images were obscene.

"Is it prurient? I don't know what to tell you," he told the newspaper. "I think it's odd and interesting. It's part of life."

17. I would certainly expect a judge to know something about the details of a case he is presiding over.

Do you find that odd? Any computer can be a "server" if it's set up that way...he said he did not INTEND the images to be available...maybe he's not a computer guru like you---? As to the "beastiality" (sic)...the report isn't specific about that allegation. I sometimes take off my shirt and play fetch with my dogs (which can obviously be classified as 'farm animals)...and there are times when the males actually get....can you handle this?---ERECTIONS! Oh GOD, the HORROR!!! Spare me YOUR faux indignation...it's nothing more than hyperbolic hypocrisy.

"The Times reported that Kozinski said he must have accidentally uploaded the images to his server while trying to upload something else. He also said he would delete some material including a photo of naked women on all fours painted to look like cows, which he called "degrading," the newspaper said.

Kozinski said he began saving the sexually explicit materials and other items of interest years ago, the Times said.

So tell me, oh righteous one, did he start saving all of this stuff "years ago" because he knew he'd one day be sitting in on a pornography/obscenity trial??

BTW, DOGS are NOT "farm animals", they are domesticated pets.... some *ranchers* use dogs to help herd their sheep, goats, cows, etc... but *farmers* grow crops, grains, hay, etc. Have they taught dogs how to pick squash, beans, tomatoes or any other crop?
