1. Self kick...
The links in the Congress forum are active
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=308&topic_id=690&mesg_id=690

From the front page click on Video/Audio at the top.

In the drop down box click on C-Span Video library at the bottom.

http://www.c-spanvideo.org /

Now click on Congress at the top.

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/congress /

Now use the calendar at the right to pick a date, in this case it was 6/9/2008.

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/congress/?q=node/69850&da...

And then scroll down to the time, it was 21:20 and you will see "Kucinich, notice of intention to offer resolution..."

Click on Kucinich and it will bring up the video and text

*********OR*********

Click on any other name to see any other video.

Also, I just noticed the column on the right which lists all the speakers that day, click on the blue number in the column and you will get a selection of videos with text for that day and that speaker.

2. Video and text by members of Congress from 2001 to now...
Scroll down to where it says

Most Speaking Appearances
House (View Full List)
Days Member

and then click on view full list which will bring up the Senate or House floor speeches for the past seven and a half years, text and video.

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/congress/

"The C-SPAN Congressional Chronicle is an index to the C-SPAN video recordings of the House and Senate floor proceedings. The video recordings are matched with the text of the Congressional Record as soon as the Record is available. It only includes members who appeared on the floor to deliver or insert their remarks. The text included here is what the member submitted. Each appearance has a video link where users can watch and listen to the actual remarks.

C-SPAN has telecast the House- and Senate-produced telecasts of the proceedings from the first days in March 1979 and June 1986 respectively. This site further extends its original mission of making the congressional proceedings widely accessible by national telecast and the online webcasts. C-SPAN is now making publicly available an index to the online archive of its recordings of the House and Senate proceedings.

We hope that this site will provide a useful tool for viewers and followers of Congress to research, watch, and review the actions of the Congress. These recordings are in the public domain. Users can create direct links to single speeches and pages on other web sites and blogs. Additional searches and refinements will be added. We welcome comments and feedback."
