Campaign Idea: gas pump stickers?

I like the idea of a removable/non-vandalizing stickers that we can put next to the price windows on gas pumps across the country.

"Thanks for voting Republican."

Has this been tried yet?

1. A couple of years ago, I was posting sticky notes

I don't remember the wording but it was something along the lines of blaming the prices on the Republicans and their war.

Sticky notes could easily be removed and did no damage. But that is also the problem, they were easily removed.

3. I think removable non-vandalizing stickers are VERY useful.

I'd like to see one that says something about how U.S. Oil cost more to get out of the ground than they were making on it in the market in 2002. They were going bankrupt until their puppets, Bush/Cheney, Socialized their losses with one of the biggest subsidies of all times, the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq.

4. Problem might be with Big Brother cameras everywhere now,

(especially at gas pumps) you could be videoed, your tag # run & charged with littering, because the wind can easily blow off the sticky notes.

Just sayin'.

But I LOVE the IDEA!

8. It is sooooooo easy to avoid the cameras and just slap a sticker anywhere.

Just peal it before you leave the car, palm it and slap it onto the pump as you are reaching for something else to draw the observer's eye away. Then just pay in cash so there is no paper trail.


99% of the time no one if going to pay anyone to go back through a month of surveillance to find out who did it and even if they do a sticker slap is extremely difficult to spot.
