Bush likes giving neckrubs to Angela Merkel

fast as she can so that he can't touch her any more. I lived in Germany and Austria quite a number of years. I don't remember any man putting his arm around me in that kind of gesture over there. American men do that. It is obnoxious unless you are very close to the man.

Bush is waving to the camera. Chancellor Merkel is trying to avoid the photographers. That's the way the picture looks.

Once again, Bush is making a fool of himself, acting like a jerk in a completely inappropriate manner.

Has Bush no dignity whatsoever.

Murkel was seen as being more accepting of Bush after the previous chancellor was really sour on U.S./German relations. I'm sure Bush's handlers told him to really make it obvious that the U.S. and Germany are good friends during photo ops. Bush took this to mean, "grope the German Chancellor at every opportunity"
