When I heard her say that on friday I immediately thought it would be difficult for a black person to vote for her, even on the outside chance she was the nominee. So with that constiuency gone she cant win the presidency anyhow. And just let me say this to be clear. What I just said is absolutely the truth and if anyone thinks its not so, needs to either be more "in tune", "in the real world", or something of that sort. Its hard to get the toothpaste back in the tube. The reaction ive seen is similar to the march in LA a couple years ago by the LATINOS, the latinos talked about it openly on spanish language TV and radio. And yet when the march happened the country was "SHOCKED", thats because most of the county (including LAPD) wasnt listening. Thats bascially what is happening in the Black Community has made up its mind, and you can take that to the bank YAEL

If you think you can do a better job, I'm sure the mod signups are happening soon.

Mods don't get paid. At all. They work 24x7, 365 days a year for little thanks and a lot of abuse. It's the toughest job I've ever loved. It takes a person with an endless wellspring of patience to work as a mod, not to mention the fact that they are working when everyone else is off at play.

There are several thousand posts a day on DU and a limited number of moderators. They do their best. God forbid that they might want an hour or so on a holiday weekend to spend some time with family and friends.

Again, I encourage you to sign up the next time DU's looking for moderators.
