Armed Services Committee vs. Senate Foreign Relations Committee
I'm open to any input, but it seems to me like that Senate Foreign Relations Committee is an order of magnitude much more competent than the Armed Services Committee. Maybe it's because Biden does a much better job than Levin seems to do, but the contrast seems especially striking when comparing how the two committees handle testimony from Petraeus. Any thoughts as to why this is?

1. with Biden at the helm he does not hold anything back.

2. the Armed Forces Committee looked dumbfounded
with trying to get those Pink supporters out of the room when they were protesting. How did they get in there with all of their signs and stuff? Looks like a middle school operation if you ask me.

4. The protest was for a full 2 minutes
I mean, with all these military personnel in their uniforms, didn't their civilian clothing kind of tip them off? I have nothing against Code Pink, but I just assumed that these committees would have adequate security to keep disruptions down. Levin actually pleaded with them to keep quiet before having them removed.

5. It's OUR hearing room and they can be there.
He does that all the time... :P

He's used to it and I think he appreciates their support. ;)
