Michael Moore Making Fahrenheit 9/11 Sequel
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=44954

Paramount Vantage and Overture Films will co-finance and distribute Oscar winner Michael Moore's next film, a searing and provocative follow-up to his groundbreaking 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11. The announcement was made today by Moore, Nick Meyer, President of Paramount Vantage, John Lesher, President of Paramount Film Group, and CEO Chris McGurk and COO Danny Rosett of Overture Films. Paramount Vantage will handle international distribution in all media and Overture will handle domestic distribution in all media. Paramount Vantage will be launching the film into the international marketplace this week in Cannes. The film is scheduled for release in 2009.

Moore has made three of the top five highest-grossing documentaries of all time including Fahrenheit 9/11, 2008 Academy Award nominee Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine, the Academy Award winner for Best Documentary in 2003. He has also written and starred in the TV shows "TV Nation" and "The Awful Truth," both of which established his trademark style of presenting serious documentaries in humorous and engaging ways. As with all of Moore's projects, the subject matter of the new film is being kept under wraps by all the principals.

1. What's the working title? "I Told You So!"?

While we're at it, can all the Michael Moore naysayers point out the errors in "Fahrenheit 9/11" - I so have to hear what they were.

8. The problem with the original F-9/11 is that he tried to cover far too much
The film started out about 9-11, but turned into a movie about the Iraq war. And despite what the Bush Crime Family tried to tell us, those are two entirely different topics. Mike wanted to get a movie into the theaters in the Summer of 2004, because he thought it would wake people up, but he couldn't decide which subject would have the bigger impact, so he kept the split focus. Unfortunately (though I loved the movie, as I do all of Moore's work) it ended up short changing both the 9-11 AND Iraq storylines from what they could have been.

I know his original purpose for F-9/11 was going to center on the Bush Crime Family and their business associations with the Bin Ladens and the House of Saud. I'd like to see a full movie on that subject matter. Hopefully, this is what Moore has in mind.
