6. It sucks don't it
it used to be we never gave thought to the cost of the fuel to go anywhere we went, not anymore. You know what really sucks is having to listen to the shrubettes bitch about the price they're paying without any of them seeming to put it into perspective of why the prices are as they are.

22. Yep,I can remember
Back in the mid 60's when they had "gas wars" in Tucson Arizona. We paid 18 cents per gallon! When we moved up to Washington state when my dad retired from the military, it was 35 cents in the small town we moved to, and I thought that was outrageous! Now I would love to see it back to $3.00 a gallon! Of course that has been the whole plan in my opinion. Raise the gas, then lower it back down, but never as low as it was the year before, then do it again the next year. Since Bush took office the oil companies have broken records every single year from the previous year. Bush has done more to ruin this country than any 10 of the worst presidents we ever had in the history of this country!

7. It's been that in Orlando since last Wednesday, only 35 cents from being $4.00 per gallon
...I predict that the !0% price hike needed to put it over the $4.00 mark will happen by Memorial Day weekend and stay at that level all summer here in Florida anyway.

12. Lots of gassing up and running being reported up here.
I can understand why. Plus, if you can't lock your gas cap, watch out.

13. Even a locking gas cap doesn't help
Assuming they don't break it with pliers, they drill a hole in the tank.

14. Funny how market already factored in possible 18cent gas tax "holiday"
We'd simply be back to where we were two weeks ago and the oil companies would be pocketing the 18 cents, instead of that money going to pave the roads and repair bridges that have killed people. But that's just a 'rich elitist fuck' like myself talking.

24. Same area. Friday evening bought what I could at $3.49
then went to pick up my son at the movies about 10 p.m. and it was up to $3.59. Seems to be going up a dime a day.

26. yeah, tell me about it......
it seems to go up 10¢ about 2 or 3 times per week!!

The last time I filled up (a couple of weeks ago) it was $3.19! And in the next few days it went up to $3.39!

Just to be sure, I filled up again tonight while it was still $3.59. I figure it's better to do it now because it will surely continue to go up.

I usually take the expressway to work so I've started driving 60mph instead of 65mph, maybe that will help.

23. I saw it change
3 times in one week last month! It's obvious to me that big oil and big investors are giving us the shaft so they can increase profits, and for the investors, get back some of the billions lost in ban housing loans!

25. Too bad the people can't get together and simply only buy when they need it, this
would totally fuck up inventory and soon storage places to put it from the ships delivering it. (oil)
