I wish Jenna's "private wedding" was WAY MORE private!
Sheesh I'm so sick of having some breathless news bimbo pimping her wedding all over the news for the better part of a week --

I feel like they're milking the "good news bright spot heartwarming" blah blah blah to try to get some positive feelings for *. Good luck with that.

Also some serious delusions of grandeur here:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080511/ap_on_go_pr_wh/jenna_bush_wedding

"If they'd have gone on TV, the wedding would have been shown all over the world and Jenna Bush would have been an international celebrity :eyes: — ....snip

The media was not invited, but Jenna's wedding will be closely scrutinized — down to the matte beading and embroidery on her white Oscar de la Renta gown.

"The wedding details will be reported on for generations, :eyes: influencing both present-day and future brides-to-be," says Millie Martin Bratten, editor-in-chief of BRIDES magazine and student of first family weddings.

In conclusion, my feelings about the relentless coverage of this non-news event on the so-called news is:

:eyes:
