Which state will decide this year's election?

Ever since Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, the GOP have been holding one state to screw everything up.

Which state do you think will be this year's Florida?

Disclaimer: This is not against Floridians. This is against the bullshit voting system elections officials have set up for Florida voters. For as long as I live, I will never forget that flaky assed Butterfly Ballot and how it was setup.

Depending on the strategy McCain wants to follow.

I think Tommy Thompson and Charlie Crist are his two major VP choices. Either would give him a large advantage in their home state.

28. None...It Won't Be That Close

Polls are showing Gramps can't crack higher than 45% in any poll and in even the reddest states he's barely above 50%. Inversely, I see Obama beating Huggy Bear by 10% or more in many of the large states and this is before the campaign has begun in earnest and Gramps is enjoying a corporate media PR blitz.

The Democrats are seeing record numbers at the polls in the primaries while the GOOP numbers are significantly down...the trend isn't going to suddenly reverse in November...especially if Gramps is running for a third booooosh term. Also, I see coat-tails going up and down the ticket as energized Senate and Congressinal races will help Obama and further demoralize the GOOPers.

These elections are there for the Democrats to win...and if the deal is sealed, we could see the GOOP losing early and often with little to no need for any state to be crucial...similar happened with Raygun in '80...Obama racks up big wins in east coast and midwest states and by the time the vote goes west, the election will be over but for the pontificating and shouting.

I think the only state from 2004 we might actually lose is NH.

Pickups will be Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, and New Mexico. Nevada and Florida are good possibilities, and there are outside chances like NC, SC, MO, and maybe even TX.

I don't think this will come down to one state. Not this time.
