she is 16 and 1/2 and had a great job last year and when she turned 16 they were going to make her a shift manager...instead, the building got bought out and the little burger joint went out of business. So from Jan to now, I have been supplying her with gas money and things she wanted and needed, wasn't that big of a deal, except she likes her shoes

today, she got a new job at McDonalds so it will help all the way around!!!

5. When my daughter worked at McD's as a teenager,
which was about 7 years ago now, she made $8/hour. Not bad considering, many full time office jobs paid less.

14. congrats
my daughter just told me tonight that she got HER first job at a Chinese place where she lives. A friend of hers is a senior and is graduating so she set it up for my daughter to get the job when she leaves. She has been a volunteer at the local hospital and several people tried to get them to hire her but that fell thru so for now she will be working here.
