I sometimes look inside myself and re-examine my beliefs
and I always go back to when I was a child, and didn't have to deal with the confusion created by others. I was me. I thought what I thought, and learned what I learned, and grew.

I will never understand those who play games with people's lives, or even their thoughts.

We seem to be trapped in a country now that has "leaders" who are adept at manipulation.

I have come to the conclusion that many, not just some, want to be manipulated.

Think about that word. Manipulation.

It's a drag, but that's the way it is, and instead of getting upset about it, I choose to simply live the life that my mind has directed me to. Not someone else's.

I never liked the schoolyard bully, never liked the nun that rapped my hands with the ruler, and I don't like being played for a fool by my government.

I don't like being manipulated, but I am past the point of being pissed about reading and seeing others who are.

It's just the way life is.

The bullies and fools are running the show for now.

Vaudeville never looked so good.

Do you ever re-examine your beliefs?

1. A couple thousand years ago, some thoughtful person

saw fit to remark on this very thing, and it got included in a literary work of enormous consequence.

That remark? "Pray without ceasing."

Thank you for sharing.

2. Now I have to wonder about that remark, and
search.

Thanks. I always like a challenge!

3. Its a moral crisis.
We grew up being told that they good guys win, again and again on TV and movies, then we see the real world...And if our brains our a little to big to be covered by the propaganda, it hits us hard.
