Rush Limbaugh Calling For Riots In Denver

DENVER -- Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is sparking controversy again after he made comments calling for riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention this summer.

He said the riots would ensure a Democrat is not elected as president, and his listeners have a responsibility to make sure it happens.

"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.

Limbaugh cited Al Sharpton, saying the Barack Obama supporter threatened to superdelegates that "there's going to be trouble" if the presidency is taken from Obama.

Several callers called in to the radio show to denounce Limbaugh's comments, when he later stated, "I am not inspiring or inciting riots, I am dreaming of riots in Denver."

Limbaugh said with massive riots in Denver, which he called "Operation Chaos," the people on the far left would look bad.>>>>snip

taking him to task for doing so, AND for him singing "I'm Dreaming of a White..." -- he didn't finish it then, and tried to deny it...told her she didn't hear him correctly or didn't understand. She kept at him and he finally admitted he sang that ditty, but did such a bad job of it because he couldn't remember how it went. How could anyone not know how "White Christmas" starts out?

He was the usual jerk. I didn't hear how the conversation ended, as I was in and out of the car, but she reamed him out, for sure.

When I returned quite a bit later, he was still going on about "I'm Dreaming of a White Country" I think is what he was trying to say.

He is a racist pig. He is so proud of his Operation Chaos and how he has messed up the process. I cannot believe he still has a following, but they are rabid and hang on his every word.

And it's not any more justifiable. People say dumb things at times, but Rush gets paid big money to say this stuff -- therefore he has a big responsibility. Inciting riots is dumb for anyone to suggest, but if one's actual job (aka "source of income") is to babble into a microphone for a living, you bet they need some regulation.
