Florida Republicans starting to eat their own.
Ron Paul supporters kicked out of GOP meeting

Campaign 2008

An ongoing spat between supporters of Republican presidential candidates John McCain and Ron Paul flared again Thursday, when pro-Paul dissidents were kicked out of a Pasco County GOP Executive Committee meeting.

Sofie Lefebvre, a Paul supporter, said a sheriff's deputy escorted her and her husband out of the Land O'Lakes Senior Center, where the meeting was held.

Their offense?

They are Republicans who don't support presumptive nominee McCain. Though McCain's nomination is all but assured by delegate count, Paul is still in the race.

"It's this little nasty game going on," Lefebvre said. "This isn't America where you don't let your own people into meetings. This is absolute fascism."

In the mean time, Pasco County Democrats continue to sit around with their thumbs up their asses, whining, trying to figure out why they can't win elections. Bill Bunting, the REC Chairman, and his wife rule the county repukes with an iron fist. No dissent allowed.

1. The irony is lost on him
Lefebvre said. "This isn't America where you don't let your own people into meetings. This is absolute fascism."

4. Hearing a *Republican* complain about creeping fascism...
is "the height of something or other", as my grandmother used to say.

2. How does that make you feel, Republican stalwarts?
Did you cheer back in December 2000, when the counting of votes in Florida was cut off to install your guy? Did you tell Democrats to just get over it? Did you think that you were immune to this, that the same principle would never apply to you, because you were good, loyal, dyed-in-the-wool Republicans? Did you laugh at the anger of your Democratic brothers and sisters? Did you celebrate the abortion of the democratic process of counting votes?

Because if the answer to any of those questions was "yes," then I have just two words for you, Mr. and Mrs. Lefebvre:

Suck it.

3. Interesting comments after the article.
At the TX precinct convention in March, I got so pissed at the way things were being handled that I told off the county chairman and then left on my own. There was no point in even being there. This country is screwed. Ron Paul was the last chance.

5. The same thing happened to them down in St. Pete.
They wanted to sell them tickets, but they didn't want to let them in, or vote.
