Obama wore a flag shirt like we used to wear in the 60's. Ya think that'd make 'em happy? I doubt tho, that many of our flags are even made here now..... or our shirts. Or our cars. Not TVs, either.

But they are still making republicans here, eh?

your post reminds me of a true story....a parable actually....

Once upon a time I had the occasion to attain a 1st degree black belt in Okinawan karate. That goal took over three years of constant hard work. One of the stories the sensei told the students was about a guy who had once come to him and offered to pay him a few thousand for an 'instant' black belt. The sensei told him--"heck it doesn't cost THAT much--just give me 10 bucks and I'll make sure you get one from my supplier in 5-7 business days."
