"goons and thugs" remark is directed at China's crackdown in Tibet not at the people as a whole. And they know that. Who is learning from who here? Is the Chinese gov't learning these tricks from the Bush Administration or is it the other way around. It's getting hard to tell the difference.

It seems a news/political commentator isn't supposed to "comment" according to the Chinese gov't.
