King wants to leave some oil for Saudi children

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has said some of the country’s oil has been left untapped to preserve oil wealth for future generations.

King Abdullah Saudi Arabia’s official press that he had told Saudi authorities to 'leave it in the ground, with grace from god, our children need it.'

US President George Bush in January urged the Saudi king to reduce soaring prices by encouraging OPEC to pump more oil.

If he pumps all the oil, then he loses the US protection for the country as do his children. I wish we were keeping some of our dwindling supplies back in reserve for leaner times instead of selling it off to other countries.
