Report of Iraqi Boys blown up while playing soccer was Bogus
I just read this in this morning's paper. Didn't happen.

Some explosives were detonated on purpose to destroy them. The explosion was bigger than anticipated. I guess some boys across the street were playing soccer but none were seriously injured.

1. That's maybe half right -- your paper is missing something
An eyewitness was interviewed recently, and there were TWO explosions. The first one was car bomb, and did kill a number of children playing soccer. The second one was a few days later but in the same general area, and that one was the 'controlled demolition' that you describe.
