Anonymous 'senior administration official' sounds a lot like Dick Cheney
Ever wonder about the identities of those "senior administration officials" who always seem to get quoted talking about President Bush's policies?

It wasn't hard to figure out who was doing the talking when the White House released a transcript of a question-and-answer session this week aboard Air Force 2, Vice President Dick Cheney's plane. One big clue: The unnamed official used the pronoun "I" when discussing Cheney's visit to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

"I would describe my sessions both in Pakistan and Afghanistan as very productive," the official said.

Even after Cheney blew his own cover, White House spokesman Tony Snow declined to lift the prohibition against identifying the unnamed speaker.

3. The 'self' interview is on the WH website. Also, an article yesterday pointed
out that it IS Cheney (a follow up from this one)

4. Who Was The Stenographer Who Was Shooter's Plant?
It's time these "reporters" stop being so stuck on access and ego and start to do some real journalism. The Libby trial has all but exposed the way Cheney abuses the media to distort, lie and attack his enemies from the shadows.

I'd also like to know if this scribe purposely didn't "fix" the quotations on purpose or was it another lazy reporter who was so excited in getting the "exclusive" they rushed the quotes off.

Either way...other than Olbermann reporting this, I haven't seen or heard anyone else in the corproate media report on this story. They all still scared shit of Cheney. Had this been Al Gore, be assured it would have been Topic 1, 2 and 3 on hate radio and foder for the late night comics.
