my son, who was stop lossed would die!! :cry: She actually said that.

Why do I bring that up? Because that's when I had to make a choice

I was against the war and rallying the troops and then I got news that floored me

My OWN son was being deployed and stop lossed, to boot!

I was attacked ruthlessly on that MB, and I defended myself and others did too

but the "so called" progressives attacked me about the war, night and day.

................ This is so much for me....

I was against the war from the start! But my son, age 24, an ADULT, joined BEFORE he told me

he even joined and then 9-11 happened, but he never told me he was even in the Guard until

he was almost out... He kept it from me. One month to go to get out and on Christmas Eve (no less! ugh!) he got his orders for Iraq. They had denied repeatedly that he'd be deployed)

I'm sitting here weeping about it all... it just killed me and I was on so-called progressive boards and they were wishing my son to be blown up!! :nuke: :wtf:

I think I've had enough of the bullshit and I want all of you to know that don't have a loved one deployed, that you are all so 'clueless', so 'not in the know'... you don't know hardship or loss or thereat of loss of a loved one and you have no RIGHT to try to talk and lecture me or any other military families here on DU!!

But this 'diatribe' went the way of the wind... I didn't want to say all that. I've been holding it in.
