We have seen plenty of evidence of blatant racism in the Democratic Primaries, both from one of the campaigns as well as here at DU.

The GOP is much too savvy to allow an African-American on their ticket unless Obama is thrown under the bus during the nomination process.

They won't like it, but unlike our side, when the time comes, they will actually what vote for what they perceive to be in their best interests. Remember how a month ago conservatives were saying how awful McCain is? And now they're saying he's not so bad, after all. Our side has people holding their breath like a ten year old if their nominee doesn't get in. I've gone from a mild irritation to full on hatred for Clinton these last few weeks, and I'll still vote for her if she gets it.
