Scott Kleeb, the U.S. Senate hopeful and former ranchhand, must have lead in his cowboy boots.

And, unfortunately for Kleeb, those boots were made for walking.

His Nebraska driver's license was revoked this month after he was slapped with his sixth traffic ticket in 22 months.

All but one of the tickets was for speeding. He will not be eligible to apply for a driver's license in Nebraska until September.

Kleeb, 32, said he regretted the speeding infractions. He noted that three occurred during his 2006 congressional bid.

"I drove 60,000 miles, spent 15 months on the road going from event to event . . . It was a lot of road miles and a lot of events," Kleeb said.
