All citizens with the last name of "Bush", anyone related to the 41st president of the United States George Herbert Walker Bush, or the 43rd president of the United States, George Walker Bush, are hereby prohibited from running for high office not limited to or including President of the United States or both houses of the United States Congress.

Section II:

This amendment will take effect immediately upon ratification.

First, there might actually be a decent person, unrelated to the Bush clan, that would otherwise run for office.

Second, the Intelligent Design/Genesis folks will claim that since we're ALL the grandchildren of Adam and Eve, that we're all related to the Bush family, incestuous bastids that we are.

4. Bush is a common WASP name

but it would be nice to exclude anyone with any sort of blood or marriage relationship to the family in power from seeking any government office, elected or unelected, for the term of two hundred years.

After two hundred years, perhaps their pernicious DNA would be diluted to the point of harmlessness, although the perfidy seems to be breeding true in successive generations to date.

Or perhaps we could institute a trap, neuter and release program for that family.

9. Let me see if I understand this correctly

You are recommending that we ratify discrimination into our Constitution based on some ones surname. Maybe future administrations will add the name Roosevelt, Kennedy, Clinton to the list. Why not, if you can do it once, you can do it many times.
