McCain: Al Qaeda might attack in order to make me lose
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 12:49 PM by ck4829
Republican presidential candidate John McCain said on Friday he fears that al Qaeda or another extremist group might attempt spectacular attacks in Iraq to try to tilt the U.S. election against him.

McCain, at a town hall meeting in this Philadelphia suburb, was asked if he had concerns that anti-American militants in Iraq might ratchet up their activities in Iraq to try to increase casualties in September or October and tip the November election against him.

"Yes, I worry about it," McCain said. "And I know they pay attention because of the intercepts we have of their communications ... The hardest thing in warfare is to counter someone or a group of individuals who are willing to take their own lives in order to take others."

So, does this mean that McCain's candidacy is a threat to national security?

1. McCain is mentally unstable...
Anyone who votes for him should be hanged for treasonous activity because THEY are a threat to our Country and National Security.

3. He forgets how bin Laden helped GWB in 2004...
...with his election-eve video speech. Just in time to scare people into voting for Bush.

It's clear Al Qaeda wants the GOP in the White House. Bush/McCain's policies in Iraq have been the best recruiting tool bin Laden could ever hope for.

6. He's crazy, but probably crazy like a fox in this case.
His statement is totally disingenuous. Since when has a terrorist threat or attack harmed a Rethuglican hawk?

13. I wonder if we'll see the return of Code Orange alerts INSIDE the U.S. before the election?
I think that's something that's crossed the minds of the CREEPublican Party in power.

15. I have it on good authority.....
that Saddam Hussein will rise from the dead along with his dead commanders and the 200 or so dead "third in command" Al Qaeda guys and create an unstoppable zombie force. This evil Islamic zombie army will continue to kill more Iraqis for the sole purpose of making John McCain look unfavorable to the average American voter who seeks change in Washington next November. Damn that evil Islamic zombie army! They hate us for our election processes and our functional circulatory systems!

Remember kids. A vote for McCain is a vote against evil zombies.

19. They're trying their best to cover all bases.
If Obama wins, AlQuaeda will be dancing in the streets.
If they attack, McCain loses.
