FORT WORTH - At least one person was being treated Monday at the Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital emergency room after the patient had claimed to have been exposed to anthrax.

Hospital officials could not confirm the report, but the patient or patients were being decontaminated and other precautionary measures were being taken.

The Fort Worth Fire Department hazardous materials unit had sealed off the area surrounding the emergency room at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue.

3. I first heard this on MSNBC; I 'thought' I heard an agent was
involved, CIA or FBI. So that's probably a real good question. The story I heard also indicated two people are getting decontaminated, or whatever they do. I wonder how they knew it was anthrax.

I'll believe it. Otherwise, sounds like somebody is blowing something out of proportion.

Dear Police: Amazingly enough, not all white powdery subtances are anthrax.
