Just got back from a "Jeanne Shaheen for Senate" rally...

1. Hey! Swing the Vote (my group) has him in their sites. Do you remember

the "Stop Bass - Stop the War" signs? That was us. We're trying to come up for a good sign for Sununu. Any fun suggestions?

3. We have a bumper sticker that says...

"Stop Sununu--End the War" on a red stop sign. We've had alot of people honk at us and give us the thumbs-up. Personally, I think Jeanne Shaheen has a very, very good chance this time around, but you know how sneaky those little Repubs can get. (I just put a Shaheen sign in the snow and it barely touched the ground; I'll have to keep an eye on it!)

4. Were her gun supporters there?

I took the time to show up for a Shaheen visibility event some years ago, in response to an email request for help from the NH Democratic Party. I drove up all the way from Massachusetts, with Mr. Frazzled, and was sorta offput both by the ungraciousness of the people running the event, who didn't even thank us for coming and were kind of rude, and by the gaggle of pro-gun Shaheen supporters we had to stand with, who made me uncomfortable.

Well, I certainly want Shaheen to win over Sununu ... but I'd never help her out. She's not my favorite poltician. But I'm all for adding another D to the Senate tally.
