1. YouTube shouldn't have pulled the video
As one poster pointed out... We need to return to shaming people and shunning them when they do incredibly stupid, callous and twisted things such as this.

2. It will be funny if ..............
It will be funny if all the media exposure forces the military to prosecute the puppy killer.

I just think this guy and his buddies should be made to look like the a**holes they are in the public square.

on edit:
The 2nd video I hadn't seen and that is funny.
Thanks

I know my endorsement of the 2nd video probably makes me a hypocrite

4. Hey.. I clearly remember my DI screaming...
"Jeeezus H. Keerist... you fucking maggot...... that's not how you strangle a puppy! You look like a monkey trying to fuck a football. We have all fucking night, sweetheart... you will strangle puppies until you learn to do it right!"

Sorry... black & inappropriate Jarhead humor.

I actually do remember my fellow Marines shooting the shit out of water buffaloes just for the hell of it... with the horrified farm family standing there watching their entire future get turned into blood and guts.

"War is hell" is not just a phrase.

I know its not "good" humor but the drill sgt. in that movie has me cracking up:rofl: Ermie Lee plays an awsome drill sgt or similar military role:applause:

10. Because he was a Drill Sgt.
He was brought in as a consultant, and when he went off on a 10 minute tirade during a test shot without repeating himself, Kubrick hired him on the spot. That was the beginning of his acting career.

Still, FMJ is TAME compared to real boot, almost the senior center version.

9. I remember reading about something like that
In one of Tim O'Brien's Vietnam memoir/novels. Guys just shooting farm animals to smithereens. It was quite a powerful image even though it was conveyed as a very casual thing. I suppose that's what happens when life and death and violence become merged--like you said, war is hell indeed.
