My wife and I love DU, but for what it is: a website for Democrats. That's it. That's all it is. It's a good one; we met here 5 years ago. Cool.

But, as far as "oh! you are mean, you support ******" Give me a freaking break.

This is a political website, not some namby pamby, warm fuzzy horsecrap, feel good, "are you a Do Bee or a Don't Bee" place to see your buddies.

If you are "driven out" by the "meanies" who support whomever--then I suggest that you see a surgeon for a backbone, asap.

Don't be stupid. There are many people here who are wondering if they are going to be able to survive the next few months---economically, emotionally or physically--those are REAL problems. It is not a real problem if people were icky to you.

So get a grip and suck it up. If you can't stand "ickiness" then quit paying attention to politics, because it's ohhhh sooo yucky.

2. I found it best to put the primary

forum on ignore. Just reading the venom is stressful when I think of what we stand to lose if we do not win this election. My candidate dropped out long ago. I don't need to subject myself to adolescent insults and I have plenty of backbone... I just choose not to play the silly games. I do dip my toe into the forum every now and then but my blood pressure is much lower not reading all the drivel.
