For the Democrats, it all comes down to tomorrow. Primary day in both Texas and Ohio. And, those twin primaries will determine the Democratic nominee for president. No, I don't accept the idea that the race will go to the Democratic convention. It will be decided tomorrow. And the result will raise two important, no, critical, questions. The first question is whether or not Obama and Clinton will accept the decision made. The second question in a moment.

Clinton has to win both states and she has to win big. A close result - a narrow defeat of Obama - will give her neither a victory nor breathing room to continue her campaign. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. It has to be a blowout for Clinton in both states or . . . welcome back to Washington, Senator Clinton.

Obama? Any sort of tandem victory will suffice. But, margins of 10-15 percentage points from both states in his win column will authenticate his nomination. Then comes the peace-making and the make nice in which both candidates must engage in order to unify the Party.

Which brings us to the second question. Simply put, will Democrats, Clinton as well as Obama supporters rally behind the winner and work for his or her election? This unexpectedly prolonged campaign has taken its toll on supporters of both candidates. There is an abundance of animosity between the camps and attitudes have hardened regarding the electability of either in a contest against John McCain. This could be the crash-and-burn moment for the Democratic Party. Compromise and peacemaking is absolutely required if the Democrats are to re-take the White House.

The irony, of course (or, maybe not), is the utter similarity - if not outright agreement - on most of the issues among these three "corporate" candidates. McCain is Obama who is Clinton who is McCain. No? Check their records. To hell with their rhetoric; check their records.

Now, if the Democrats really, truly wanted a progressive, liberal Democrat in the presidency, I mean a real Democrat, a really, really, really honest-to-God Democrat . . . there's always, um, oh, never mind. Every time I mention his name my in-box catches fire.

This is almost as much fun as fun as a pay-per-view pro wrestling tournament on Turner South, don't you think?

I've got to get serious about trying to trap the Skinny kitty and a smaller, solid black feral. There are some bigger, mean cats coming around and Skinny one may be old enough to come into heat and Goddess knows that I don't want any part of that.

FYI, females can get pregnant every 6-7 months! One pair can produce over 7,000 offspring in one year. Getting them TNR'd really helps them too, and you can make them more domestic.
