"Some say" John McCain hates Catholics
"Some say" that McCain's seeking out and active embrace of anti-Catholic bigot Pastor John Hagee indicates that John McCain also hates Catholics.

Hagee "has waged an unrelenting war against the Catholic Church. For example, he likes calling it ‘The Great Whore,’ an ‘apostate church,’ the ‘anti-Christ,’ and a ‘false cult system.’

Oh where, Oh where is (AP slime writer) Nedda Pickler when you really need her the most?

Because, after all, some say that John McCain hates Catholics.

4. Hagee is a false prophet and a
heretic. The Catholic Church has never had any fear of such infidels. He first supported Mike Huckabee, and now turns to McCain as the repository of all the neocons and Likkudniks who jumped off the dying body of the Guiliani candidacy. He and McCain shall truly have their reward.

I love it when religious crazies fight.

7. Catholics are the largest religious denomination in the US

And a classic "swing vote". Catholics voted 50-47 for Gore in 2000 but swung over to 52-47 for Bush in 2004 costing Kerry Ohio and Iowa in particular and the 2004 election in general.

Identifying the GOP in the minds of Catholic voters in the midwest and southwest as the party who embraces anti-Catholic bigots like Hagee should certainly be part of the Democratic Party's message this fall. The party of tolerance and ecumenicalism versus the party of bigotry and hate.

No brainer, IMHO
