Republicans now jumping on the Al Gore/Global Warming bandwagon
Twice in the past month - I've had 2 people who were Bush voters in 2000 and 2004 tell me they made a mistake voting for Bush and telling me they are now concerned about Global Warming.

One is my neighbor who was such a Bush fan that she had a picture of Dumbya on her refrig. Now she wants to see "An Inconvenient Truth" after seeing the Oscars last night. A few weeks ago she told me she was "disgusted" with Bush.

The other person told me she hopes that Gore runs for Prez in 2008 because she wants to vote for him. She jumped on the bandwagon this last year and became a Gore fan after seeing "An Inconvenient Truth" at one of the house parties.

I guess better late than never.

1. The more the better
I don't mind late comers, given what's at stake.

2. Just like a Conservobot/Republic to respond at the speed of a glacier
It's high time they started being CONSERVATIVE on the environment.

Well, good for Al! I do believe he would kick butt if he were to announce, but I don't think he wants to.

3. I have mixed feelings. I'd hate to see him be dragged through the mud again.
I'd love to see him become President but would hate to see him get dragged back down into the mud.

I had my heart ripped out during and after that 2000 election. If I was depressed about it for a year after that - I can only wonder how he, Tipper and Karenna must have felt.

He is on such a high right now and getting such adulation - I hate to see him hurt again.

4. I agree 100%. It does my heart good to see him so at peace. Whatever Al wants to do, I'll support
I'm still not over the 2000 'election' either. ' Don't think I ever will be. And 2004 was another ripoff.
