3. Earth First!....
Hmmm, that looks like a catchy name for a conservation organization. Oh, wait....

Seriously, until people begin to think globally we will be unable to solve many of today's global problems.

15. Why is Israel on the list?
There are only two Israelis who post here, to my knowledge, and a three with citizenships to both countries (and one poster, I seem tor emember, who was a citizen of Israel and France (?)). Of course, there are lots of Jews here...well, not lots...is that why it was added?

21. Family.
Then, everything else is situational, but the guiding concept, hopefully, is logic, though not always possible.

24. humanity as a whole...
After God, my priority then goes to humanity as a whole-- regarldess of which sides of the imaginary red and blue lines an individual is born on. Then it's Planet Earth, over which we have a tenuous stewardship (of which, I think we're failing miserably).

I've given thought to placing a priority on nationalism, but in the end I concluded that since during my own personal judgment day I'll be given neither credit nor debit for being from a particular nation, it becomes an irrelevant point-- otherwise, I'm left to conclude that helping a person born on "this" side of national border is somehow better (or worse) than helping a person on the other side of that same border, and I simply don't see how that could be possible.

A lot of people have told me with an implied absolute knowledge that religion (or, Religion) has killed more people than any other concept in the history of our planet. I disagree-- I think it's our obsession with those very same imaginary red and blue lines on a map which has resulted in the most death, the most distress, the most hunger, and the most poverty.
