Americans have no more choice in who is President--I mean who
will be the nominee of one of the two (?) major parties than pre-industrial Europeans had about who would be the next king/queen.

In those days, the nobles had some say in who would be the next monarch, sometimes even going to war about it. Same as today, the power elite have the say about who will be the next monarch president.

1. But I think this is changing - watching Obama mobilizing and inspiring
thousands upon thousands of people - starting from the ground up to take control of our government again. I hope he is successful ! Just heard a 73 year old man on C-SPAN call in and say he was worried about what our country had become and how he would leave it and now, with Obama, he has hope for the first time in many many years.

4. Obama gives good speech and does inspire people, but
... he was 'allowed' to be seen and heard by the M$M. He was allowed to receive the good coverage as permitted by the corporate masters. Yes, people are responding to him, but only because he was not shut out in the media like Kucinich, Biden, Dodd, Richardson and my personal favorite, John Edwards.

Obama and Clinton have been 'approved' by the corporate owners to be the two candidates that we are 'allowed' as our choices. I think the corporate masters can force either one of them to crash and burn if they decide to. It will all be done surreptitiously, of course.

I'm feeling rather negative today.

and IS TOTALLY CORPORATE. Either way the Corporate ESTABLISHMENT WINS!

3. That's why the Congress is not supposed to let the President be a Monarch

And this has been a terrible failure of the current congress. Both parties should be interested in stripping power away from the President.

6. Start sending emails
These “Super delegates” better be listening to the people and not to their special interests. Obama is winning by much larger margins than Hillary which will translate directly to votes in November. If Hillary is the nominee, that will just prove they are looking out for themselves and not the American people and a lot of us will be forced to vote for McCain just to send a clear message that we aren’t going to take it any more. Start sending the message to all your Democrat politicians and let them know to vote the voice of the people. PS. I'm a 44 yr old married white male, with two kids and plenty of money.
